Calling on all Unions and friends of Labour, Join us at 4:30pm at the Protest Bridge at Harvey and Spall in support of CUPE Ontario's Education workers and to send a clear message to the Ontario Provincial Government that Bill 28 is an abhorrent attack on the charter rights of Canadians Coast to Coast.

Is this REALLY unprecedented?

Yes. We've seen governments before that freeze wages, end strikes and legislate workers back to work. We have NEVER before in history seen a law that imposes a four-year contract with huge cuts in real wages and orders people back to work under threat of massive fines for failing to comply. Bill 28, and the use of the non-withstanding clause to allow an override of the Canadian Right and Freedoms is the most draconian attack on worker's rights to bargaining we have ever seen in Canada. Without free and fair bargaining, unions cease to effectively exist.
Simply put, if this catches on, the practice threatens to exterminate unions everywhere.

What to Bring?
(1) Wear Pink!
(2) Union Flags
(3) Picket Signs and Placards
(4) Speakers, Megaphones, Noise makers
Will you come?
